Chartsy is a revenue analytics platform that combines Stripe and Paddle billing data with your website traffic, built for bootstrapped SaaS founders who don't have a data analyst.
Billing data on its own tells you that MRR and churn moved, not what moved them. Traffic data on its own tells you where visitors came from, not which of them paid. Chartsy holds both, so every revenue number traces back to the marketing that produced it - and nobody needs SQL to ask.
Connect Stripe or Paddle, and Chartsy handles the revenue analytics layer on top of it.
Chartsy computes MRR, ARR, churn, LTV and cohort retention from your invoice data rather than from subscription estimates, then walks you through what moved and why. New, expansion, contraction and churned revenue are separated out, so a flat month never hides two movements cancelling each other.
A single script tag on your site tracks visits and signups, then matches them against Stripe or Paddle revenue. You see which channels produce paying customers and retained revenue rather than just traffic, with first-touch and last-touch attribution that works across subdomains automatically.
Build the dashboard that matches how you actually run the business instead of working around a fixed template. Pre-built starting points - Revenue Analytics, Early-Stage SaaS, Pricing and Plans - are ready the moment your first sync completes.
Chartsy charts the custom fields and tags you already write to Stripe or Paddle - plan tier, acquisition source, account type, whatever you store. Aggregate revenue becomes segmentable without any extra tracking work on your side.
The Daily Briefing opens with a today-versus-yesterday revenue snapshot, and the Weekly Email Report delivers plan-level revenue, churn and geography to your inbox. You stay on top of the numbers without opening a dashboard every morning.
When a number raises a question, ask it the way you'd ask a colleague - "which plan has the highest churn?" - and get a chart plus a one-sentence takeaway. It is the layer that makes the metrics interrogable, so a drop in MRR doesn't need a SQL query or an analyst to explain.
An MCP server that exposes your revenue metrics inside the AI client you already work in, including ChatGPT and Claude. You can pull MRR, churn or top customers into a conversation instead of switching to a dashboard.
Where Chartsy departs from ChartMogul, Baremetrics and Stripe Sigma - specifically.
Chartsy derives MRR, churn and LTV from the invoices actually issued on your account rather than from subscription records, so proration, partial refunds, failed payments and mid-cycle plan changes land where they belong. The number you report is the money that moved.
Chartsy is priced by tracked website events, not by how much money you make: Starter runs $9-$99/mo and Growth $29-$189/mo, and the price is identical at $10K MRR and at $1M MRR. ChartMogul scales with MRR ($0-$1,199/mo, Enterprise from $19,900/year above $10M ARR) and Baremetrics scales with ARR (Launch $75/mo under $360K ARR, Growth $255/mo), so both charge you more for growing. Plans are month-to-month with no contract, no cancellation fee and no overage bill.
Google Analytics tells you where traffic came from but not which of it pays you; ChartMogul and Baremetrics read billing data but don't track your website. Chartsy joins the two, so a channel is measured by the paying customers and the revenue it retains rather than by signups.
Chartsy connects directly to Stripe, Paddle Billing and Paddle Classic. ChartMogul reaches Paddle through a third-party sync (SaaSync) rather than a native integration and does not advertise Paddle Classic support at all, which matters if your older subscriptions still bill through Classic.
ChartMogul and Baremetrics answer through fixed dashboards and saved reports, and Stripe Sigma answers only if you can write SQL. In Chartsy the question goes in as a sentence and comes back as a chart you can save, so you aren't limited to whatever reports someone decided to pre-build.
Turn GDPR Mode on when connecting an account and Chartsy computes every metric without ever persisting customer identifiers on its servers. Access to Stripe and Paddle is read-only in all cases - Chartsy never writes to a connected billing account.
Chartsy is built for founders and operators rather than data teams.
Chartsy is a poor fit for large enterprises that already run a dedicated data or BI team and need custom warehousing, and for businesses that bill through a processor other than Stripe or Paddle.
Chartsy was founded in 2024 by Serena Prifti and is built by a small, founder-led team based in Tirana, Albania. It started from a gap she kept running into: most SaaS founders don't have a data analyst on staff - they have a Stripe or Paddle dashboard, a spreadsheet, and a growing list of questions they don't have time to answer.
The product the team set out to build is the one that answers those questions: revenue maths computed from the invoices you actually issued, on a dashboard that's fully yours to keep rather than a fixed template you have to work around - and, when a number needs explaining, a follow-up question you can type in a sentence. Because the team is small, the people answering support emails are the same ones writing the product.

Founder
Serena founded Chartsy in 2024 and writes about analytics, growth and subscription metrics. She focuses on helping founders turn raw billing data into decisions they can act on.
LinkedInWhat happens after you sign up, and how you reach us.
You sign up, connect Stripe, Paddle Billing or Paddle Classic through a secure read-only connection, and the last 24 months of history begin syncing automatically. There is no code to write and no data modelling step - dashboard templates are ready as soon as the first sync completes.
If you want Growth attribution, you add a single script tag to your site and Chartsy starts matching visits and signups against revenue. Attribution works across subdomains automatically, so a marketing site and an app on separate subdomains still tell one story.
Chartsy is a small, founder-led team, so support questions reach the people who build the product rather than a tiered helpdesk. Founder Serena Prifti answers directly on anything about the roadmap, integrations or your data.
Support runs on email at support@chartsy.app and through the contact form on this site; product news goes out on X and LinkedIn. Billing questions go to the same address - Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for every Chartsy order and handles payment processing, tax and compliance.

Chartsy combines two things most founders keep in separate tools. From your Stripe or Paddle account it computes MRR, ARR, churn, LTV and cohort retention off the invoices you actually issued; from a script tag on your site it tracks the visits and signups that came before those invoices. Holding both means a revenue number traces back to the marketing that produced it, without SQL or a data analyst.
Founders and operators, not data teams. It fits bootstrapped SaaS companies and small subscription businesses on Stripe or Paddle that want revenue answers without hiring an analyst. It is a poor fit for large enterprises that already run a BI team and need custom warehousing.
Two plans, priced by monthly tracked events rather than by your revenue: Starter from $9/mo (10k events) to $99/mo (2M events), and Growth from $29/mo to $189/mo. The price is the same at $10K MRR as at $1M MRR, and annual billing saves roughly two months.
Stripe, Paddle Billing and Paddle Classic, all natively. Chartsy does not currently support other payment processors.
Under five minutes for most accounts. You connect Stripe or Paddle through a read-only connection with no code to write, and your historical data starts syncing immediately. Dashboard templates are usable as soon as that first sync finishes.
Chartsy's access is read-only and it never writes to a connected Stripe or Paddle account. Turning on GDPR Mode means no customer PII is stored on Chartsy's servers at all - metrics are computed without persisting customer identifiers.
No. Plans run month-to-month or annually, renew automatically, and you can cancel any time from the Billing section of your account. Your subscription stays active to the end of the period you've paid for, then simply doesn't renew.
Both are dashboard-and-report products whose pricing scales with your MRR or ARR. Chartsy charges by tracked events, so the price stays the same as your revenue grows, computes its revenue metrics from invoice data, and lets you build dashboards yourself instead of working around preset reports.
